Tonight I made a rubric for grading my 5th graders on their writing project. They are writing bilingual creative non-fiction. Their final book will include a collection of personal stories including a dedication page and an about the author page. My advisor is visiting my class on Thursday and I want to make sure I look like I know what I'm doing, so I made this super time-consuming, fancy, bilingual rubric.

Things in my life I wish I had a rubric for:

• personal style (choice of clothing & accessories)? sometimes I don't think I pull off what i'm going for.
• how I rate as a sister, daughter, friend, girlfriend, teacher, dog owner?
• how I rate as a writer, a cook, a teacher, an athlete, a public speaker?
• how I deal with conflict?
• how I drive?
• how healthy am I?
• how much sleep is really needed?
• a blogger?
