Dear Los Padillas Teachers,
The Los Poblanos Organics South Valley farm, which is located right behind Jerry’s Store on Isleta has welcomed us to come visit with students. They have thirty acres where they grow a variety of vegetables. They also raise chickens and pigs.
The farm would be happy to do a class tour of the farm, and to teach students about different foods grown in our Los Padillas community.
The farm is walking distance to the school, and Los Poblanos grows food all year around.
