These tiny daddy longlegs hatched in the moist, warm corner of my shower. If I get too close, their mamá quivers and shakes in a striking position. I saw the other day that there were two parents, and one of them had caught a little bug and was holding it in it's mouth like a bone. I wonder how baby spiders eat killed prey from their parents? I am proud to house this family of spiders in my home, and I hope they grow up to be strong, people-friendly spiders who will overtake the cockroach population.
