a preface

so,

for those readers who kept up with me in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, my life is wayyyy different now, and I thought I'd better catch you up on my activities and where-a-bouts.

I finished my contract teaching in Tongliao, and I've come home to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Prof. Ned and I have gone our separate ways. Nina the Pug and I live in a charming historic and hispanic area of the city. I'm hoping to get into a masters program I've applied for, I'm hoping for more travel adventure, I'm hoping to have a stand at the grower's market next summer selling kimchi, I'm hoping to stay hopeful, and I'm hoping to stay/be/live creatively and loving in the day to day.

My plan is to become licensed as a teacher, and armed with a masters in ED degree and trek back out internationally to live and teach more permanently, or find a bit of beautiful land on a mountain valley somewhere and have a small farm, family and cabin with a man who knows how to chop wood.

Anything is possible.

Thanks for reading.

love,

amandala
