Mother Teresa & Easter

My new favorite quotes is:

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends, and some true enemies; be successful anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may be never be enough; give the world your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

--Mother Teresa

I found it in one of my new favorite books, "Black Ants & Buddhists" a text book written like a narrative about teaching Social Justice to the primary grades (K, 1, 2).

I am blessed to have had a wonderful Easter with my family at my parent's house. My dad smoked a goose, and it was yummy. Sort of like turkey, darker meat, and more fat. Very yummy. I forgot my laundry at my parent's house in the dryer, and my mom drove all the way to my house at 9pm to bring it to me. Thank you Mom! Love you! you too, Dad!

Your dad smoked a goose? I thought you were talking about some sort of elicit drug at first...whoops. I'm glad it was yummy.

I've been thinking about you lately. I'll give a call soon. Hope you're well.
